Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: July 1st, 2026

McCabe’s Guitar Shop is committed to making our website accessible and usable for all visitors, including people with disabilities.

We are working to make mccabes.com easier to use for people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, magnification, voice recognition, alternative input devices, or other assistive technologies.

We want everyone to be able to find concerts, buy tickets, shop for instruments, learn about lessons, contact us about repairs, read our policies, and understand what McCabe’s offers.

Our Accessibility Goal

Our goal is to make our website substantially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a guide where practical.

Accessibility is not a one-time project. Websites change, products change, plugins change, and content gets added over time. We are working to improve accessibility as part of our ongoing website maintenance.

What We Are Working On

As we update the McCabe’s website, we are working to improve:

  • Keyboard navigation
  • Screen reader compatibility
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Clear headings and page structure
  • Readable text and sufficient color contrast
  • Accessible forms and buttons
  • Clear link text
  • Mobile usability
  • Checkout and ticket-purchase flow
  • Product, concert, lesson, repair, and policy pages

We also try to make important information available as real text, not only inside images.

Third-Party Tools and Content

Some parts of our website may use third-party tools or services, such as payment processors, ticketing tools, maps, video embeds, social media links, shipping tools, analytics tools, or other website plugins.

We do not fully control the accessibility of third-party platforms, but we try to choose and configure tools in ways that support accessibility where practical.

If you encounter an accessibility problem with a third-party feature on our site, please let us know so we can look into it or help provide the information another way.

Concert Accessibility and Wheelchair Access

McCabe’s welcomes concertgoers with disabilities and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility needs at our concerts.

Our concert room is an intimate listening room inside a working guitar shop. Seating, aisles, entry, and available space may vary by event setup. If you use a wheelchair or other mobility device, or if you need seating assistance or another accessibility accommodation for a concert, please contact us before purchasing tickets or as soon as possible before the event.

We will do our best to help with accessible seating, entry, and other reasonable accommodations, subject to the physical limits of the room, safety requirements, and applicable law.

For concert accessibility questions, contact us at:

Phone: (310) 828-4497

Please include the event name and date, the number of tickets you plan to purchase or have purchased, and the type of accommodation requested.

Feedback

We welcome accessibility feedback.

If something on the site does not work well for you, we want to know. We may not be able to fix every issue immediately, but we take accessibility seriously and will use feedback to improve the site.

Ongoing Improvements

McCabe’s is a real place, full of wood, strings, people, opinions, and the occasional mystery cable. Our website should be easier to navigate than the back room on a Saturday night.

We will keep working to make it better.
